This project was inspired by some thoughts I was having about "enlightened society" being one with the universe so to speak. First thought, if I grew up with all of your EXACT circumstances I might be you. Second, each individual is beautiful and strong but together we have great power...and wouldn't be nice if that power was directed in a positive direction.
So birds...beauty and strength of each individual...and the beauty and power of the entire flock working together. This project is an attempt to honor that strength and beauty...the murmuration...the magic instant when the entire flock turns instantly in midair together. Those little birdies are way smarter than we know...they have managed to survive despite our invasive ways.
